Social Impact 101

On January 14 from 5:30-6:30pm (2nd date is February 15 from 10:00-11:00am) we will be hosting our first event for the term called “Social Impact 101”.

At this event we will have our social innovation ambassadors teach the basics of social impact, entrepreneurship, and prepare you for our upcoming Careers with Purpose sessions.

Questions we hope to answer?

• Why is social impact vital for our future?
• How does social innovation accomplish the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals?
• Can I pursue a career in social innovation through business, global affairs, health care, technology… etc ? ?

Do you want to create social change at UofT and in your community but you don’t know where to start? Begin with the basics and analyze how you can use socially innovative solutions to local and global problems. Join us on January 14.
